Ciel Studio was founded on a simple observation: the best digital tools were being built for large enterprises, while local businesses were left patching together generic software that almost - but never quite - fit.
We started as a two-person studio in San Francisco, taking on projects that the big agencies considered too small and the freelancers considered too complex. Six years and 40+ projects later, that's still exactly the space we operate in - and it's where we do our best work.
We're not a template shop. We're not a body shop. We're a small, opinionated studio that cares deeply about the craft of building software - and about the businesses we build it for.
